Those Flavors
03:09
|
|||
Gimme another, another flavor,
I'm always hungry, I need another
Another bite of, of all that flavor
It's so delicious, I cannot miss it.
Bring back those flavors, all of those tastes
Not a single one left a trace
For all the memories that left us within
They seem to not repeat what we were given.
Bring back those flavors!
A distant sound is within the spine
But I would drown it with cheese and wine
If there's no such thing as peace and quiet
I might as well just have another bite
The taste of glory is in my brain
But will I ever taste it again?
Until I finally sip the golden goblet
I'll fill this gaping void with greasy pockets.
Gimme another, another flavor
I'm always hungry, I need another
Another bite of, of all that flavor
It's so delicious, I cannot miss it.
The pans are screaming with sizzling grease
We'll overfill 'em, so you get a piece
And then another, I'll never tell
Slap on the butter, unnotch the belt.
What can you spell out
With all those nood's?
A can of flavor,
Delicacy Cruise
The world's so tasty
It's on a plate
Let's lift the lid up
Let's smell the fate!

Bargain Bin
04:15
|
|||
And I'm going to the bargain bin
I know where to get the right price
I've been praying for this deal
Ever since The Good Lord saw the sunrise.
Where the stickers are yellow
You can let the suckers pay in full
I'm standing in line
With the wise minds at Target, squeeze, aim and pull.
There's a voice in the intercom
There's an angel in the window
Watching my spending decisions
Leave me swimming at the end of the rainbow
I know where I went wrong
I know where I went wrong
Throw away the bad coupons
Open up my heart to the real song.
And I'm gonna buy something
Make sure that I get a good price
And I'm going to the bargain bin
Going to see where the bargains never gonna end
I'm going straight for the price tag multi-sticker.
And I'm going to the bargain bin
And I'm gonna get the right price
I'm going where the stickers are low
Going free by my inner face.
Where the stickers are yellow
And the sign is hanging down
Well, how The Lord let 44 cent fall I might've found.

My Bike
03:17
|
|||
The stones that form the angel's feet
I pull my lips from an ancient kiss
Own, nothing of my own
The seeds were sown unto weeds and bone.
I don't need another way.
Bleed, bleed if I bled
Feed the stones and wood where hero stood.
Called, called to the cave
By the jasper rays, the ashen spray.
Dawn, pray for the dawn
To escape the din of a shattered whim.
I could read it all again.
The subtle curves of the droning earth.
I don't need another way.
As I watch the letters fade in the molten waves
Waves,
No loss of truth betrayed
The broken thoughts they frame
Frame,
They mask the ancient shame.

Reprise My Bike
03:36
|
|||
Father, I feel it is time
For what, my child?
I was hoping you would tell me.
Ha, ha, ha.
But you laugh and I am well.
And I’m glad of this.
Now where am I to go?
A crown, a haunted hurricane
A jewel at evil’s hem
If you would meet again.
The wax, the oozing spectres’ tracks
At the quaking rim,
If you would begin.
I don’t need another way.

Broken Angel
03:25
|
|||
Peeking down and underneath it
Praying for a juice to fall into my lappy.
But until that blessed moment
I cannot complain or do anything nasty.
Creeping up and down the alley
Laughing while the little kitty’s looking at me.
Biting on the side of trash cans
Feeling like aluminum, it really knows me.
There’s another way.
Picking up the little pieces
I can imagine baking in the desert.
Folded into broken ‘gami
I can just start melting like an old banana.
Holding on the hands of heaven
Piece of cactus falling from a broken sky.
Laying in it, burger diving
Now the people are looking in my real eyes.
I’m not just another one of
I’m not just another one of satan’s homies
Used to let compassion hold me
Rather leave that bastard lying sad and lonely.
I’m not one to do the sinning
And I know it’s been this way since the beginning
There’s a broken angel in me
I can feel him pushing through, the veil is thinning.

You Were Bold
03:15
|
|||
Hold, holding on too far
Now you’re underneath the tar.
Bold, bold you were to dive
See the glory in your melting eyes
Warm, warm as you may be
This is not your true eternity
Ah, back again for more?
Hope you brought what you’ve learned in the ore.
Can you see what a snake I’ve been?
In the weeds, as a friend
You don’t need that kind of friend
While the ocean spray may be sweet
There is no need
For this shit at your feet.
Can I see what you’re holding on
Does it feel any better, then, holding on?
Can you pass me that rope?
I don’t mind where it goes,
I just want to give it a pull.
Have you seen where I’ve been?
To myself I have not been a friend.
Can you pass me that rope?
I don’t care where it goes,
I just want to give it a pull.

Lomasosi
02:20
|

I
Will
Not
Forget all those times.
I
Will not
Let them
Go to waste.
I’ll
Cherish the times
Immemorial.
Ah.
